These sweet treats are loaded with lots of sugar, calories and fat and thus, making it unhealthy for the body altogether. Therefore, a possible substitute for these sweets is consumption fruits like banana, strawberries, and grapes. These fruits have natural sweetness in them and thus, one can make a banana bread or chocolate dipped strawberries to satisfy your sweet tooth with fewer calories and delicious at the same time.

Pizza:

Pizza is another junk food which is loved by almost everybody. But consuming 3 to 4 slices of pizza at one go can really spike your sugar and cholesterol level altogether while increasing your calories intake. Therefore, a healthy alternative is to make pizza at home with a whole wheat flour at the base instead of using all-purpose flour with tomato sauce, a limited amount of cheese and toppings of your choice. Thus, making pizza a lot healthier.

Instead of consuming candies in the free time or just to increase your energy level. If you or your kid can not avoid candies, then try low sugar candies, protein bars, dry fruit candies, homemade butterfingers, chocolate and almond butter crunch bars etc. Lot of alternatives are available in supermarket that can fulfill your craving.

It is advisable to eat fruits which are naturally sweet like banana, pineapple or mango slices. A large amount of sugar present in the candies could really have an adverse impact on your health.

Cravings for ice-cream is never ending and it is almost impossible for anybody to eat ice-cream in moderation. So instead, one should switch to making fruit-based ice-cream at home which is healthy as well as tasty the same time.

Chinese Food:

Cravings for some Chinese food like schezwan fried rice or noodles is hard to be denied but at the same time, they are extremely unhealthy to eat. Chinese food also has healthy options to go for like steamed fish, schezwan chicken etc. We all agree a roadside Chinese hut has some really lip-smacking food but try to avoid it as much possible since they use a high amount of oil in them so, instead make these dishes at home with the use of olive oil.
